No 1 Sushi Bar, Edinburgh

The No 1 Sushi Bar is the latest addition to the list of places that I decided to stimulate its microeconomy using the Msian's tax payers monies.

Yeah...they served nice sushi. Priced between 10-15 you can eat until you became as fat as monster.

You can also get sushi for as cheap as 4 pds for the whole plateful of sushi..

Tesco

A few recommendation of nice sushis there include:

*********

*********

*********

********* (bodoh, they din pay me why I should advertise for them.)

Anyway, they have better eating environment than Sushiya, or Koi. Because, the waitresses are more pleasant looking. (hoho) - more chun than the koi ones for sure.

It is here, in this very restaurant that I mastered the highest level of chopsticking.

Cannot lift up the glass to drink?

Kungfu Satu Jari dari Shaolin, to weaken the Van Der Waals bond between them..

Now, using high energy biting

Now, more control.

Lift it up and drink la.

Can korek telinga as well. The hasil lombongan can be used to punk your housemates, by putting it on his sushi, as the fish eggs.

Or, for you really hate that guy, lombong the "fish egg from the other tapak perlombongan"

Pretend to use it as straw and ask others wanna try the drinks?

Did BN really win in Perlis and Terengganu?

This is something that have never happened in Malaysia before.

As we know, BN won the majority of state assembly seats in both this states.

But, unlike before, they have yet to form state gov excos and there is still some problem with the candidate appointed by Pak Lah.

In Perlis, Shahidan as the BN head who won, was appointed by PM as the MB, which is the way it should be, normally. But the Raja Perlis picked an unknown ADUN, Datuk Dr Md Isa Sabu as the Menteri Besar of Perlis, and the constitution seems to be on his side.

Everyone knows that former MB, Shahidan is one rich man. He and his family owns Bernas, and almost half whatever you can find in Perlis, and this, apparently did not go well with some BN assemblymen in Perlis, and of course, the Raja Perlis. The only group of ppl that still went well with this cronyism, is of course, his crony in Tambun Tualang, and the BN leaders in federal level, who, also, active ber-crony crony.

As reported by TheStar, The new MB picked by Raja
Sirajuddin was backed by 9 out of 14 BN ADUN. According to that source, these are the nine who met the Ruler, and conveyed the wish of the people that they wanted Shahidan out of MB office.

The palace of Perlis made the media statement appointing Datuk Md Isa, despite Shahidan having the appointment letter from PM. Shahidan has been lobbying the job in KL since pre-election until now, and got it, but I guessed he forgot to lobby in Perlis.

Next, in Terengganu, BN state chief, Idris Jusoh was picked by PM as the MB, but, again, the palace intervened. The King insisted on anyone but Idris, and so, the 23 ADUN of Terengganu was summoned to Putrajaya to meet the King, and sort this out. And the thing is, Idris is not going the meeting.

So, did BN really won in Perlis and Terengganu? They are not loose coalition like DAP-PKR-PAS that have problems in deciding who should hold the state. But still, the monarch seems to be able to give PM some extra headache.

Well, this is what we called - Constitutional Crisis. When I saw that heading in the news, I thought aha! another Lina Joy or something like that. Haha..

Politics in Malaysia is having a great change. Not only the opposition managed to slap-slap BN a bit, now the monarch also come in and kick BN's ass, true to certain extent.

Shahidan was reported by Utusan as saying that PM will meet all the ADUN in Perlis, to explain the situation. (So now PM Vs Monarch?)

PM PM...kesian dia. One blow after another. Surat Mukhriz which followed the template used by his father to write to Tunku after 1969, has create some hoo-haa in UMNO Youth as well. Then followed by this constitutional crisis in two states over MB's choice. In the mean time, we also have the legendary
Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah writing letters to all divisions, bashing UMNO's failure (tersirat for PM) for performing that shit in GE08, and the prestige UMNO.

But perhaps the biggest headache of all for him, is the fact that he is going to have Anwar Ibrahim sitting directly opposite him, in Parliment soon. (but anyway, he can just skive it, just like how he did for the past 4 years)

Relaks PM. Tonite go NasiKandar Kayu minum sikit teh tarik releks dulu...(I mean the penang one...not the Perth one.)

Public Apology to Mr Porter.

This is a public apology to this guy:

The one on the right. Looks like Steven Hawkings rite...(before his wheelchair life) and pls be informed that the other two character is not relevant in the context of this post. I found it randomly in google.

I would like to apologize for the post yesterday that clearly demonized you. HAHA.

The truth is, Mr Potter is no longer an evil character. No matter he really meant it, or it was just copy and paste from a standard politician speeches book, his end-of-rotation assessment speech was nothing short of relieving, and encouraging.

He din even bother to tell us a single negative feedback. Probably we all are too negative to pick even a few to talk about that. Haha

He even asked us if we want to do SSC4 under him, he has got some projects still.

But...

No thanks. Nothing personal sir.

I am just..

not good enough for u.

Anyway, I am so going to buy u a dinner. For making me, having a 3 weeks, full time medical student life, after 3 years here in UK.

Berosce Tomorrow.

For the past 3 weeks, I have been chargrilled by my ortho consultant.

And tmr, he wants to meet up for assessment, meaning to say:

Mari BerOSCE..

follow by heart-to-heart talk.

I can anticipate the following comments:

1. Choon, I think you have to work harder.

2. You are going to be doctor soon, and you can't keep this kind of slack attitude.

3. You need to find interest in medicine, as I could see from the three weeks you were with me, you were not keen enough.

4. You need to work, really, really hard.

Well...

You know after I ran the 21km untrained, both my feet were damn damn painful. I really thought that I got stress fracture, coz my range of movement, was virtually, zero.

I lazy to tell the whole grandma story. But some key moments after that:

1. Tutor: Where is the pain? Show me! Are you a wimp or wat? (wtf...when i see him, the pain went away...cant show him my painful shitting face)

2. Fat FY under my tutor: Choon, you have to keep up with me. You cant possibly walk slower than a girl? (wth...eei fatty, u go run half marathon then the next day u come and walk see you can climb stairs or not?)

My leg pain can best described as: Very painful during morning especially just after woke up from bed, and it gets better as you go along. But the pain lasted for 6 days, now ok already.

My final day with him, last friday. He asked us to go Sick Kids, which is too near to take bus, too far to walk for me..that time...

As I walked so slow with my crippled gait, I took a few photos using my hp on the long way along the meadows.

Luckily the weather was nice..but the usually 5 minutes brisk walk now extended to 20 minutes long crawl...

I am a pedestrian.

Yeah. I'll work harder...next year. HAHA. So happy...going to see him for the last time and then, muax muax muax , sir good bye, go tiau hai.

I can still run..yes..i can...

All these years...I have been pondering,

whether with this belly which grows bigger and bigger each year...hairier and hairier each day...

Could I still run like how I ran last time?

You know...like we always like to dig out our great grand ability and do media conference abt that...like anwar likes to talk about how petrol price remained rm1.10 when he was Finance Minister (come-on DSAI, mana boleh compare itu macam..)

Would I be able to run long distance as well as I ran when I was in secondary school? with my this hairy biggy belly?

This bugger finished before me...

After all, I had done 6km merentas desa fastest ever in my entire life...

completed a 10km peace run...

finished first in 3km orientation run in college..

ran 1.5km in school with very good time...

So, I decided to put an end to all these doubts.

To give an answer to myself on whether I am still, the fat but fit Ang.

I paid 15 pounds to register for Meadow Half Marathon.

And on top of that, I managed to raise 20 pounds, for charity here. (here's page Sports Relief)

And now I am proud to tell you guys that....

I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still...

the Fat but Fit Ang.

Soalan Teka Teki: In a long distance running competition, Ang was better than the fastest runner. Why?

Memang lawak...spiderman, spiderman's frend, ugly nun...

Answer: Because Ang ran EXTRA one lap.

So stupid of me. I lost count the laps I ran because I was too..too..tired. And, for me, I wanna know whether or not I could complete a 21km run. Ran extra lap better than finished the run with a doubt whether could I actually completed the 21km. (One lap is 2.3km)

They said they would send all the runners their lap timing result around this week. So I would know whether I actually ran extra lap, or some of my friends ran less one round. (I concluded that I ran extra round coz they never cut me but finish first.)

Thanks to all who donated for the charity I ran for. I nearly gave up half way already, but with the 20 pounds raised in my mind, and the evil laughter of my teviot place neighbours if I cant finish it ringing in my ears, I pushed myself to the extent I dun remember how many laps I ran.

Early early go no one there...

Cannot see any non-ang-mohs...

Stretching for photo taking...

From front view...

Aha.! Met vengee, a senior of mine. At least someone i know.

He memang run for olympics punya attire...hahha.

Potong masuk first batch...save around 5 minutes liau..

I think second round..still can smile..

3rd round...I was following the girl number 303..

4th round..lost the 303 girl..but must maintain kenot lose to 327 ah pek.

I think this one might be 7th Round..I became a running zombie already...

Finished 21+ km run...my time around 2hours. Still look good rite?

No! The only muscle not in pain was otot pencerut.

Next run: Sports relief. 6 miles.

Election 8 March 2008

I have always find it hard to reply ppl who said:

Election? No use one la. BN will always win no matter what we say and do.

Now, if I meet these ppl, I'll conclude that they are from Sabah, Sarawak, Johor, Pahang or Perlis.

Election March 8 2008, will go down in the history, as the most exciting, revolutionary and shocking election of all time. More meaningful than 1969, because BN was wiped out in 5 states, BN was unable to win in all urban cities except Johor Bahru, Opposition won not just the Chinese and Indians, but won over the Malays as well.

Pak Lah, will be remembered as the most electorate experienced Prime Minister of Malaysia of all time, who managed to experience all that one PM can possibly achieve.

He led BN to 90% victory in 2004, and nearly wiped off Opposition in the Parliament.

The election after that, he led BN to a skinny 63% majority in Parliament, and lost Perak and Kedah for the first time in history, and lost Penang and Selangor after securing it for the past 39 years (1969 they lost) and blew away from Kelantan.

I can conclude that, most of the developed cities, voted for Opposition.

Why? Possibly because they all have got internet.

How are we not disgusted, how are we going to believe in our Pak Lah's government after what we saw in internet, and compare it to reports on Tv and newspaper, from the way the government bashed the Bersih Rally...The way they detained the Hindraf Five...The way so many MPs behaved in Parliament...The way our judiciary system works...

The young voters came in, and sent strong message to BN.

I cant imagine a BN which has hundreds of millions to spend for election, a BN which has all media but internet on their side, a BN which has strong grassroot support over the 50 years of governance in the country, to do worst than this, in the next election.

Nik Aziz's PAS resounding victory in Kelantan, showed us that the most important factor to win over ordinary voters, perhaps might not be the trillions ringgit worth of economic corridors, or sending a doctor to space, or building multi-million Islamic Civilisation Park but just merely 2 things - sincerity and humbleness.

Perhaps the BN should start encourage their leaders not to drive around in Mercedes, not to talk cock about how supportive the people to them, not to build big castles just around the city, and start to blog, start to get in touch with voters, and start throwing golden peanuts, as early as possible.

Perhaps BN component should learn from MIC, to allow meritocracy within their party. Should learn from MCA that internal conflict by releasing sex scandal not only benefiting the people like me for free porn. Should learn from Gerakan that stop talking about the candidate of the next Penang CM before you win at least one state seat in Penang.

In this Election 2008, a huge bunch of congratulations, first and foremost, to the Police. No untoward incidents happened, with exception of some rumours of fightings in Permatang Pauh, Klang and Marang. But after expressing our sincere gratitude to them, now maybe you all can concentrate back to protect the kids from rapists, please.

Secondly, to Malaysiakini. or the link : http://122.0.17.30/index.php. Their on track and fast report is the talk of the day. They reported the loss of Penang, Kedah, Kelantan, Selangor, while RTM and TV3 still talking about Sarawak and Sabah, and had the unnecessary forum on role of woman, etc rubbish while waiting for instructions from the boss on how to tell the news.

Thirdly, the voters. No matter who you voted, its ok. You exercise your right and role as Malaysian to vote, effectively. If you did not vote, it is still your right not to vote. Nobody can take that right from you. (By the way, I didn't vote. Voting from UK, was not the easiest thing to do. You have to go down to London. And for this particular election, however, no ballot papers reached UK and Ireland. The SPR has explained to MSD and the embassy that they were too busy, so not only student's vote were not delivered, even the government's officials in the embassy were not able to vote.)

Fourth and finally, congrats to Opposition. Please, walk the talk. I dont expect you to lower down the price of petrol, or miraculously improves the economy, or to give bonuses to the voters. After all, we never expect Opposition to distribute golden peanuts (thats the job of BN), but we expect you to show us that you are strong enough to form state government, matured enough to sit down to agree among yourselves to form effective opposition.

To the opposition, the way you govern Penang, Kedah, Selangor and Perak would be assessed closely by the rakyat. Please bring back the councillor election. We missed it so much.

Mind you, the only way you could retain the state in the next election, is that you perform EXTREMELY well. If we cant see any SUPER MAJOR improvements, or maybe if we do see some major improvements, trust me, the voters would swing back to BN, anyway.

For the 80-odd MPs from the Opposition, best of luck. It is time to deliver. Opposition should now form a Shadow Cabinet. Shadow cabinet minister to mark each and every federal minister, to be able to effectively monitor and critically check and balance the whole parliament. Also, it is imperative move so as to show that YOU, Opposition, can form government.

Samy vellu are now staying at home, looking back and wondering what the heck has gone wrong. Perhaps he could try out the most expensive bathing liquid, in the indelible ink from India, before planning how to spend the millions he accumulated over 30 years. Edinburgh is a nice city to retire. Come la. Hehe

Well done Malaysia.

Whats Next to Watch?

Well, first have a go with this brilliantly compiled results by HK.

For the next few days, what I want to see, really is how No. 1 going to reshuffle the cabinet.

With most of the leaders in MIC, MCA, Gerakan, PPP and to certain extent, UMNO, wiped off from their MP's license and their massive daily petrol allowance, I am very keen to see the cabinet line up.

Would the Number One, first and foremost, still leading UMNO, BN and Malaysia? (take note of the sequence). UMNO AGM August would be as excited as 8 March GE?

Would the portfolio, traditionally held by MCA, Gerakan and MIC, still belongs to them? albeit the top leaders are nowhere now? (Apart from MCA's brothers)

Would PKR-DAP-PAS able to form a much-awaited-MBmelayu-naibMBcina Selangor State Government?

And the big question, would opposition managed to walk the talk?

I have no good impression of PKR, to me the are just remnants of UMNO - as corrupted as others. I have better feeling of PAS and DAP.

Now Mr Najib, use your BN whip as much as you like. Now is the right time for u, the BN Whip to whip. Not when you are 2/3 in power.

Mr Nazri Aziz would be throwing golden peanuts around the Padang Rengas for next election. He was saved by 1489 ppl. Which he said, is not the "majority" isnt it?

and lastly, MIC, you can now deregister the party and change the name to....

HINDRAF.

Hehehehe

Bad Day for Chelsea, Man Yoo, and.......BN

Today, BN suffered the worst defeat in history of GE.

Lost 2/3 in Parliament.

Lost 5 states.

My feeling rite now? - A bit happy, a bit worried, a bit sad.

Happy because without the 2/3, more democratic parliamentary proceedings can be expected.

Worried because if you yourself, as a normal citizen don't know what the future would be, how would you think the economy will be?

Sad because, the SON IN LAW Of No. 1 won in Rembau.

Put it straight, before the election, I hope Opposition will win more seats.

But after the election, I thought, maybe a little too many seats won by them.

However, the results that made everyone smile, are

--- > Mr Samy is out. OUT. OOOOOOUUUUTTT!!!!

---> Mr Kayveas is out.

---> Mr ZAM ZAM is now bye...zye....zye....

Some things that would be better if...

1. KJ kalah in Rembau. (potong stim)

2. Nazri kalah in Padang Rengas.

3. Zul Rafique kalah in Setiawangsa.

4. Tengku Adnan kalah in Putrajaya (Paling mustahil)

******************************
I would trade the 4 results for 4 states. HAhaha..

Why they like to pose so much like ah lian?

See this video la..damn lawak

sudah tua tua already, still wanna do the "talk to the hand" pose.

Haha

And then the video below pulak...first time I see Lim Guan Eng's speech.

Hahaha..he talked like the old China countrymen style... hehe. Guan Eng very semangated la. Anwar as usual la, very the Anwar-like.

Both also give better speeches than : the fella that say: Saya Pantang Dicabar!!!
